Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" topped the British chart for the first of nine weeks, the longest stay at no.1 since Paul Anka's "Diana" eighteen years earlier. The remarkable six-minute recording, with nine part harmony vocals, was also notable for the innovative video which was produced to promote it, and it is accepted as having started the trend for music videos.
